  1. LDL; low-density lipoprotein, HDL; high-density lipoprotein. Age, body mass index, systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, serum total cholesterol levels, serum LDL cholesterol levels, serum HDL cholesterol levels, serum triglyceride levels, fasting plasma glucose levels and serum uric acid levels are given as means ± S.D. All P values depict significance of differences between Mt5178C and Mt5178A. For alcohol consumption, coffee consumption, current smokers, antihypertensive medication use, hyper-LDL cholesterolemia, hypo-HDL cholesterolemia and hypertriglyceridemia, P values were calculated by chi-squared test.
