MDA (A) and conjugated diene (B) levels in HEOA supplemented HeLa cell line. Cells were cultured in 25 cm2 flasks with 5 and 10 μg/ml of HEOA for 72 hours. Oxidative stress was induced by addition of Fe2+ to the cells for 1 hour at a final concentration of 100 μM. TBARs and conjugated diene (CD) were compared to untreated cells (C-), cells treated with Fe2+ alone (C-ox) and cells treated with 100 μM ascorbic acid (AA).
