AMPK inhibition abrogates anthocyanin-mediated increase of ACC phosphorylation and decrease of FAS expression. HepG2 cells were treated with Cy-3-g (100 μM) in the absence or presence of AMPK inhibitor compound C (10 mM). (A) ACC activity and (B) FAS mRNA expression were analyzed as indicated.
