The amounts of OM-3FAs and OM-6FAs in egg yolks. Four egg yolks were collected from each group (n=4). (A) More DHA was detected in yolks collected from hens treated with 100 mg/kg (P<0.05) and 175 mg/kg (P<0.01) fish oil compared to control hens. EPA was not detectable in most of the treated groups or it was extremely low. (B) The yolks collected from hens treated with 100 mg/kg fish oil had significantly lower amounts of AA compared to yolks collected from control hens (P<0.05). *, P<0.05; **, P<0.01.
