  1. Animals were treated during 15 days with Lavandula stoechas essential oils (50 mg/kg b.w., i.p.) or vehicle (NaCl 0.9%) seven days after diabetic induction with alloxan at 220 mg/kg b.w.. Assays were carried out in triplicate.
