Effect of 13-MTD on nuclear translocation of AIF in SKBR-3 cells. Cells were grown for 24 h on coverslips and treated with 0.25 mM fatty acid samples for 6 h. After the treatment, cells were stained with Hoechst 33258 and AIF as described in the method section (A). Counting of AIF punctuated nuclei in total number of 40 cells were made for 4 to 6 separate microscopic fields, and the percentages of AIF translocated cells are shown (B).
