There was no significant effect of age on female or male serum apoA-I levels in different disease groups. **Compared serum apoA-I levels of between male/female MS patients and male/female patients in other groups, patients with autoimmune demyelinating diseases had higher serum apoA-I levels than other patients and healthy subjects.
