The triglyceride levels were as follows: no risk allele (2.3 % of the population): 87.7 ± 34.2 mg/dL; one risk allele (40.8 % of the population): 113.3 ± 109.3 mg/dL; two risk alleles (42.0 % of the population): 154.9 ± 105.3 mg/dL; three risk alleles (14.4 % of the population): 197.6 ± 167.5 mg/dL; three or four risk alleles (0.5 % of the population): 267.3 ± 84.7 mg/dL
