HSPA1A knockdown leads to decreased expression of fat synthesizing enzymes. Cells were analysed for total triglyceride (TG) and total cholesterol (TC) levels (a-b). The mRNA expression levels of FAS, SCD, ACC, SREBP1C, ACOX, CPT-1, and PPARα were determined by real-time PCR (e, g). Data represent the mean ± s.d., ** P < 0.01, * P < 0.05, *** P < 0.001.
