Effect of BPF on Oxy-LDL concentrations in hyperlipemic rats. Oxy-LDL concentrations were measured by ELISA kit in rats blood plasma. Oxy-LDL concentrations were significantly increased by hyperlipemic diet. This effect was significantly antagonized by treatment of animals with BPF (20 mg/Kg daily × 90 days). Data are expressed as Mean ± SEM. *: p < 0.05 vs normolipemic. §: p < 0.05 vs hyperlipemic
