Triglyceride waist phenotypes

Definition

NTNW

Normal TG level (≤150 mg/dL (1.7 mmol/L)) and Normal waist circumference (< 90 cm in males or < 80 cm in females)

NTEW

Normal TG level (≤150 mg/dL (1.7 mmol/L)) and Enlarged waist circumference (≥90 cm in males or ≥ 80 cm in females);

ETNW

Elevated TG level (> 150 mg/dL (1.7 mmol/L)) and Normal waist circumference (< 90 cm in males or < 80 cm in females)

HTGW

Elevated TG level (> 150 mg/dL (1.7 mmol/L)) and Enlarged waist circumference (≥90 cm in males or ≥ 80 cm in females)
