The activities of the hepatic enzymes related to triglyceride metabolism in the db / db mice. The mice were fed the control diet or the lotus root polyphenol diet for 3 weeks. The values are expressed as the mean ± standard error for six mice. See Table 1 for the composition of the diets. * Significant (P < 0.05) difference between the control and lotus polyphenol groups of db/db mice.
