Effects of dietary supplements on the serum levels of nitric oxide (NO) of 5-week-old female chickens. Chickens were fed for 4 weeks. The diets of groups 8 - 12 were supplemented with δ-tocotrienol (50 ppm). Data expressed as means ± SD, n = 6 chickens per group. The value for the control group was the average of 3 control groups. Values in columns not sharing a common symbol were significantly different at P < 0.05. For each figure, 'A' shows the raw values for each of the treatments and control, and 'B' shows the percent change compared to control.
