Resveratrol, pterostilbene, morin hydrate, nicotinic acid and quercetin inhibit TNF-α secretion by LPS treated RAW 264.7 cells. TNF-α levels were measured in supernatants of RAW 264.7 treated with resveratrol, pterostilbene, morin hydrate, nicotinic acid, quercetin (16 μM) or medium alone (control) for 1 h, then challenged with LPS (10 ng/well; 400 μL) or medium alone for 4 h. Cell viability exceeded 95% for all treatments. Data are means ± SD, n = 3 per treatment, and triplicate analyses of each sample were performed. Values in a column not sharing a common symbol are significantly different at P < 0.05. CTL = Control (Medium + RAW 264.7 cells + 0.2 % DMSO); Resv = Resveratrol; Pter = Pterostilbene; Mori = Morin hydrate; Nico = Nicotinic acid; Quer = Quercetin-HCL.
