ApoA-I overexpression reduces hepatic steatosis in mice by TM challenge. H&E (a) and Oil Red O (b) staining for wild-type and ApoA-I-Tg mice injected with TM (1 mg/kg body weight). Levels of hepatic triglyceride (c) and free cholesterol (d) were measured as described in the “Methods”. Serum cholesterol (e) and triglyceride (f) levels were detected with Roche Module P-800.
