Effects of CGRP on COX-2 and mPGES-1 expression in cultured synovial cells, adipocytes and the stromal vascular fraction. Synovial cells, adipocytes (Ad) and the stromal vascular fraction (SVF) were stimulated in vitro with CGRP (100 nM) or serum-free medium without CGRP (control, con) for 8 h. a COX-2 and (b) mPGES-1 mRNA expression levels were evaluated by RT-PCR.
