Hazard ratios were obtained from univariate Cox regression analysis after adjustment for covariates including age, sex, BMI, T stage, N stage, clinical stage, Epstein-Barr virus DNA, CHO, TG, HDL, and LDL. For univariate Cox regression on the training set, lipid concentrations were mean centred and scaled by the standard deviation.
